VER3811 - Pulp Dryers
From high consistency towers bleached pulp is pumped to pulp drying lines

Reject of pulp from pulp dryers is repulped at small pulper

Pope reel drum Ø: 985 x 3850 mm

In 2007 the vacuum pumps of pulp dryer EM4 were replaced by five Nash vacuum pumps with ABB motors, so both dryers were at last equipped with Nash pumps
Two Sulzer pumps (new, with frame) height 33 m, 277 l/sec, motors 1475 rpm, 160 Kw, 500V are stored over there

Sequence of Nash pumps:

Pulp dryers data:

Reject treatment
For pulp dryers reject is there new low consistency pulper Fibrella Sweden, Ø 3m, with motor, complete with belt conveyor Hunkeller
Shell of pulper is from carbon steel, piping is stainless steel
Capacity 15 – 20 m3/h, output consistency of dissolved pulp is about 5%, power specific consumption is 4 – 6 Kwh/100 kg of pulp

Reject pulper

Big Jumbo rolls from both pulp dryers are transported for next finishing process by Tambor Transport Train TTW at rail to new baling lines (always two jumbo rolls together) at opposite bank of river
Loading of jumbo rolls is done by crane from rolls storage behind of pope winders

TTW Train:

Finishing
Pulp from pulp dryers was finished at two lines - Valmet Jagenberg rewinder machine with pulp rolls baling line and Valmet cross cutter with pulp bale wrapping
All high voltage motors at this side are for voltage 400 V in difference of the rest of mill equipment, that is 500 V
The cross cutter line is already dismantled

Technical description
  • Jumbo roll storage
  • Rewinder Jagenberg Variflex S serves for roll production. Jumbo rolls are coming by TTW train to finishing plant, where are placed by 16t crane at Jumbo tambours storage (35 tambour capacity) and from that loaded to rewinder
Pulp sheet is carried through rewinder and sliced by rotation knives at required width of final rolls, winded at tubs and finished by wrapping, binding and labelling
Rewinder operate at speed 800 m/min
    Face width is 3750 mm
One set of rolls is 4 – 6 rolls and exchange of that is done automatically
Wrapping of rolls is done by plastic folia (if requested)
Minimum slitting width is 150 mm
Rewinder is driven by twin motors AC 400 V
