Year of construction: 1998

1.1 Execution of works

The soft calender was designed and made according to the actual E.C. directives and with E.N. standards.
If the standards are not prescribed by those, a German DIN standard is used.
The calender is made of a couple of two cylinders placed one above the other, in which the upper cylinder is fix and the bottom one is hydraulically loaded.

1.2 Frame

The frame is open type, adapted for a quick cylinder change in vertical or axial sense. The cylinders are installed on a united couple of supports

First nip cylinders seen from web direction:

Superior cylinder: PERITHERM KUSTERS, Ø 610 mm, made in cast iron, ground.
Inferior cylinder: SWIMMING KUSTERS, Ø 423 mm, made in cast iron, dressed in MOL

Second nip cylinders seen from web direction:

Superior cylinder : PERITHERM KUSTERS,Ø 610 mm, made in cast iron, ground.
Inferior cylinder : SWIMMING KUSTERS,Ø 423 mm, made in cast iron, dressed in MOL
The position of superior and inferior cylinder is interchangeable.

Spare rolls available: 1 hard and 1 soft
